These are positive signs from the Rasmussen Report. It’s hard for me to believe that McCain has the edge in popular vote and I’m scared by the “safe” red state. However, the overall electoral college estimates are encouraging.

Russia and Iran have been portrayed as rubbing elbows over the past three months. This most recent development — Russia supporting Iranian sanctions — is quite interesting. Could the new man in charge be willing to compromise a bit more than Putin?

John Lewis is pulling his support from Hillary and turning toward Obama. That is good news for Barack.

It has been a great week for Obama. His current victory streak is golden in an age of instant reporting. He has some serious momentum. Hillary is looking flustered — also a good sign.

I feel bad about spreading the fear, but this information needs to be more highly publicized. It looks like we are closer than ever to our Burroughsian-Orwellian nightmares.
