Throw Your Hatred Down

It’s been a great week for the GOP. According to the newly Murdoched Wall Street Journal, Rove will officially resign on August 31st. This closes yet another grisly chapter in the Bush administration.

Another GOP Senator will be forced to resign soon (September 30th). A person’s sexuality — even in a public office — should be their own business, but when the said public official happens to be someone who makes everyone else’s sexuality their business…well, let’s just say that Craig is getting what he deserves.

Alberto Gonzales has set a time for stepping down this September. At last, this is some consolation within an administration that has eradicated personal freedoms — stomping on the rights of the individual in the midst of a barbaric power grab in the Middle East that is plunging our nation further into debt each day.

So, I was watching the PBS documentary “Get up, Stand up,” and was reminded of the Fleetwood Mac appearance for the Clintons. And my memory served me well up until right when the credits started rolling and I saw…
